Amyloidosis is a disorder that occurs due to accumulation of protein (amyloid) in the tissues and organs. Due to the protein deposition, organ cannot function properly. This in turn leads to malfunctioning of the organ. If left untreated, the disorder may even lead to death of a person. So it must be treated well, before it pose a risk of several other health problems.
